UCR 2019-2020 fees proposed

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) is proposing fee reductions to the United Carrier Registration (UCR) registration fees for 2019, 2020, and beyond.
Fees proposed for the 2019 registration year would be reduced by 17.59 percent below the 2017 registration fee level. For 2020 and beyond registration, the proposed fees would be reduced by 9.5 percent below 2017 standards.
The reduction of the 2019 registration year fees would range from $10 to $9,530 per company depending on the number of vehicles owned or operated by the entity. The reduction in fees for subsequent years would range from $4 to $3,565 per entity.
The current fees compared to the proposed 2019 and 2020 fees are as follows.
