ASSP debuts Certification and Accreditation Institute
Posted August 28, 2018
The American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP) recently unveiled its Certification and Accreditation Institute, an independent entity that works with companies to certify their workplace safety and health processes. The institute is partnered with an accredited third-party registrar to conduct audits and provide certification on the new ISO 45001 standard published in March, as well as other certifications.
According to the ASSP, the ISO 45001 standard offers a framework enabling companies to increase employee safety, reduce workplace risks, and improve business outcomes.
