EPA to hold e-Manifest Advisory Board meeting

Agency seeks advice from Board on ways to increase adoption of electronic manifests

Posted June 17, 2019

EPA will convene the e-Manifest Advisory Board to hold its next public meeting on June 18-20, 2019. The purpose of the meeting is to obtain advice from the Board on ways to increase the adoption of electronic manifests.

EPA says it has received feedback from the user community that clarifying the requirements and implementation of EPA’s Cross Media Electronic Reporting Rule (CROMERR) is one way to encourage greater adoption of fully electronic manifests. The Agency will address this topic and present ideas for consideration by the Board.

EPA’s meeting background paper and related supporting materials including the charge/questions to the Advisory Board, and the draft meeting agenda are available in the public docket at the Federal eRulemaking Portal; search for Docket No. EPA-HQ-OLEM-2019-0194. The Agency may provide additional background documents as the materials become available.

The meeting will be held at the Environmental Protection Agency Conference Center, Lobby Level, One Potomac Yard (South Bldg.), 2777 S. Crystal Dr., Arlington, VA. It also will be webcast.
