What's Covered

Drivers must complete a driver vehicle inspection report (DVIR) after a post-trip inspection when vehicle defect(s) are found. Drivers of passenger-carrying vehicles must complete a DVIR whether or not vehicle defect(s) are found. After completing this program, learners will understand:

• How to check for a variety of vehicle defects and deficiencies
• The importance of pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections
• The requirements for completing DVIRs when defects or deficiencies are found
