• Louisiana state law (LSA-R.S. 42:1169G) requires public sector employers to post a notice regarding employee protection from reprisal for disclosure of improper acts
• This law protects public employees who report information which they reasonably believe is a violation of any provision of law, or any other acts of impropriety related to the scope or duties of public employment, to their agency heads, the Louisiana Board of Ethics or any person or entity of competent authority or jurisdiction
• This is a mandatory posting in the state of Louisiana for public sector employers
• Notice must be posted in a prominent place in each building where more than 10 public employees are employed
