Product Information

The FMCSA’s entry-level driver training (ELDT) rule takes effect February 7, 2022. As of this date, individuals who are applying for their initial CDL, upgrading a current CDL, or getting a passenger or school bus endorsement for the first time must complete specific theory and behind-the-wheel instruction before taking the required skills test. An individual obtaining a hazmat endorsement for the first time must complete specific theory instruction prior to taking the required knowledge test. This training must be provided by a school or entity listed on the FMCSA’s Training Provider Registry (TPR). Learn more about the ELDT requirements.

Module 14: Extreme Driving Conditions—along with 34 other entry-level driver training courses—meets the FMCSA’s requirement for theory instruction when delivered by an instructor with a school or entity that is listed on the TPR. Training courses can be used with the Entry-Level Driver Training: Obtaining A CDLstudent manual and trainer manual for a comprehensive ELDT program.

This program is available for 25 points per seat. A seat is one person assigned to one course. Already have a J. J. Keller® Training account? Click here to log in. If you are a new customer, click here to learn more about Training Points.
