Corrective Action Training: Cargo Securement: Flatbeds - Online Training Course

This training provides learners with remedial training related to cargo securement on flatbed trailers. Specifically, this training reminds drivers they are responsible for securing all cargo, verifying securement before driving and at regular intervals during the trip, using the correct number of tiedowns and inspecting securement devices for damage.

After completing this training, learners will be able to:

• Identify who is responsible for cargo securement
• Explain when cargo and securement devices must be inspected
• Describe the minimum tiedown requirements
• Determine when damaged securement devices must be replaced
