OSHA 10 General Industry acts as a solid introduction to common occupational safety concepts and workplace hazards. It is ideal and often required for many frontline workers who need to show proof of completion of a training course by an authorized OSHA outreach.

The 10-hour course is intended for the general workforce, while the 30-hour class is more appropriate for supervisors and workers with some safety responsibility. Your employer should tell you if one course or the other is preferred or required.
