Charter extended for FMCSA’s Medical Review Board

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) renewed the charter for its Medical Review Board Advisory Committee (MRB). This charter is effective November 25, 2017, and will expire after 2 years.
MRB provides FMCSA with medical advice and recommendations on medical standards and guidelines for the physical qualifications of commercial drivers, as well medical examiner education and medical research. It is composed of five members selected from medical institutions and private practice, reflecting expertise in a variety of medical specialties relevant to the driver fitness requirements.
