Ohio Pay Stub Protection Act requires employers to provide pay information

Effective date: April 9, 2025

This applies to: Ohio employers with one or more employees

Description of change: Effective April 9, 2025, Ohio employers must give employees written or electronic access to their information. Employers must include information such as the following:

  • Employee name and address,
  • Employer name,
  • Total gross and net wages earned during the pay period,
  • Deductions,
  • Hours worked,
  • Wage rate, and
  • Overtime worked.
