OSHA’s Top 10 violations announced: Fall protection tops list

Preliminary data show some changes in Top 10 rankings

Posted September 21, 2022

OSHA’s Top 10 list of most frequently cited standards for fiscal year (FY) 2022 was announced on September 20 by Patrick Kapust, deputy director of OSHA’s Directorate of Enforcement Programs, at the 2022 National Safety Council (NSC) Safety Congress & Expo.

Preliminary data show that fall protection once again topped the list. While the Top 10 generally includes the same standards from year to year, the rankings tend to move around.
