ATRI seeking motor carriers for annual operations cost report
Posted April 26, 2019
The American Transportation Research Institute (ATRI) is seeking motor carriers to participate in its annual update for the Operational Costs of Trucking report.
The 11th annual report collects cost information directly from fleet operations. The report benefits carriers by providing them with a benchmarking tool for comparison purposes and provides government agencies real-world data to make better-informed transportation infrastructure investment decisions.
ATRI is requesting the following information:
- Driver pay,
- Fuel costs,
- Insurance premiums,
- Lease or purchase payments, and
- Full-year 2018 cost per mile and/or cost per hour data.
For-hire motor carriers are asked to provide data to ATRI by Friday, June 14. Participating carriers will receive an advance copy of the full report. Carriers interested in participating can find the data collection form at truckingresearch.org.
