Neenah, WI - Transportation professionals face significant new operational challenges as a result of the recently published Electronic Logging Device (ELD) final rule.

J. J. Keller & Associates, Inc. addresses industry concerns with the announcement of newly expanded resources to help fleets make a seamless transition from paper logs to electronic logs. These free resources will help strengthen their Hours of Service compliance program and provide their employees with a clear understanding of the updated requirements.

The first of two new publications, J. J. Keller’s Hours of Service Compliance & ELog Guide, provides fleet professionals with guidance for preparing their company for the transition to ELDs. It covers Hours of Service topics ranging from policy development to training, auditing, counseling, and more. The guide is a companion publication to their recently published J. J. Keller’s Hours of Service Compliance & ELog Planner, which features action items, checklists, and planning tools. These publications can be requested at JJKeller.com/ELDguide and JJKeller.com/ELDplanner respectively, or by calling 855-693-5338.

With Hours of Service programs in compliance, fleets can begin to focus on complying with the specific requirements of the ELD rule. J. J. Keller’s new whitepaper, Understanding the ELD Final Rule, provides an in-depth look at the core components of the new rule, including requirements for ELD use, technical specifications, driver harassment prevention, and supporting documentation. The free whitepaper can be requested at JJKeller.com/ELDFinalRule.

“Now is the time for fleet professionals to address any hours of service gaps in their compliance program,” said Tom Bray, senior transportation editor for J. J. Keller & Associates, Inc. “Our educational resources will help the industry be informed and prepare them to meet the ELD Final rule requirements.”

In addition to publications and whitepapers, J. J. Keller provides informational videos, webcasts, newsletters and partner profiles to help fleets comply with the ELD rule. To learn about J. J. Keller® electronic logging solutions, visit JJKellerELogs.com.
