Mandatory Ann Arbor Change - Effective April 30, 2025.
The city of Ann Arbor, Michigan, has made a mandatory change to its Living Wage posting to show the rates taking effect on April 30, 2025. Employers must pay at least $17.08 per hour if health care benefits are provided and $19.04 per hour if health care benefits are not provided. - Meets requirements of Ann Arbor Living Wage (Ch. 23) and Non-Discrimination (Ch. 112) Regulations
- Non-discrimination notice must be posted by all contractors; Covered contractors and grantees with 5 or more employees or a non-profit contractor or grantee with 10 or more employees. Those covered have a contract or grant of $10,000 or more in a 12-month period. This does not include a contract to purchase goods or lease property from the city, or a contract funded by the city events budget.
- Every contractor/vendor or grantee, as defined in Section 1:813, shall pay its covered employees a living wage as established
- Employers are required to post a notice in every workplace or other location in which employees or other persons contracted for employment are working
- Notice should be posted in a conspicuous place at any workplace or job site where any employee works
