Overview
- Flip-file placard meets DOT placarding specifications of 49 CFR § 172.519 for hazardous materials identification
- J. J. Keller® Dura-Clip® fasteners stop clip arms from being dislodged
- Legends manufactured of .024" aluminum (increased thickness from .020" to .024" for added strength)
- Heavy-duty (super) placard legend features 33% thicker aluminum (.032" vs. industry-standard .024" or less)
- Super back plate features 25% thicker aluminum (.040" vs. industry-standard .032") to better withstand abuse of challenging environments and provide long-term reliability & greater utility
- Aluminum contains 75% post-consumer recycled content
- Base and legends have pre-formed white painted finish
- Four stainless steel reinforced quick-release clamps hold panels securely in place
- Clipped corners on top and bottom to accommodate roll-up door applications
- Full ink bleeds (color runs all the way to the edge of legend panels)
- Available with split or rectangular panel design
- Split panels feature triangle shape with 2-piece design for roll-up doors with <15" panels
- Rectangular-shaped placard legend panels:
- lessen risk of injury from bent and dog-eared pages
- provide greater strength/rigidity all the way to corners
- improve stability due to hinges being closer to panel corners
- reduce noise and vibration which leads to long-term performance
- improve placard appearance due to less hinges being used
