Proposed HW/PCB manifest updates

EPA proposes amendments to the electronic manifest (e-Manifest) regulations. Specifically, EPA intends to:

• Incorporate hazardous waste export manifests into the e-Manifest system and expand international shipment data elements on the manifest form;
• Revise the movement document requirements;
• Revise the manifest form to improve compliance with import/export consents and tracking requirements;
• Change Exception, Discrepancy, and Unmanifested Waste Reports; and
• Align PCB manifest rules with the e-Manifest system.

EPA is also requesting comment on how the agency can begin to integrate Biennial Reporting requirements with e-Manifest data.
