ATRI to study impacts of e-commerce on trucking

Trucking companies asked to provide complete survey

Posted March 13, 2018

The American Transportation Research Institute (ATRI) is asking trucking companies to take a brief, confidential online survey on the effects of e‑commerce on logistics.

The data captured during the “E‑Commerce on the Trucking Industry” report will examine how the emergence of e-commerce has changed industry business models and operations. Specifically, the survey – combined with ATRI’s analysis of e‑commerce trends – will quantify how motor carriers have responded to the new way in which consumers, businesses, and logistics relate.

Companies wishing to participate in the study must complete the online questionnaire by Friday, April 6, 2018. The results of this study will be available later this year.
