New Form 2290 available from J. J. Keller; filing deadline fast approaching

Neenah, WI - As of July 1, J. J. Keller® 2290online.com will accept Heavy Vehicle Use taxes via Form 2290 for the July 1, 2015-June 30, 2016 filing period. The filing deadline for vehicles in use at the beginning of that period is August 31, 2015.

The Heavy Vehicle Use Tax (HVUT) must be paid for vehicles with a taxable gross weight of 55,000 pounds or more. The Internal Revenue Service regulations require the electronic filing of Form 2290 for companies with 25 or more vehicles with a taxable gross weight of 55,000 pounds or more. However, any company can choose to file electronically.
