Mandatory San Diego Change - Effective January 1, 2024
The city of San Diego, California, has made a mandatory change to its minimum wage posting show the 2024 minimum wage rate of $16.85 per hour which takes effect on January 1, 2024. View our Recent Updates and Requirements report for details.
- Meets requirements of San Diego Minimum Wage and Paid Sick Leave (SDMC 39.01) Municipal Code Regulations
- Required for all employers within the geographic boundaries of San Diego, except for anyone receiving services under the California In-Home Supportive Services Program
- Employers are required to post a notice in the workplace informing employees of the current minimum wage rate, sick time benefits and of their rights
- Notice should be posted in English and any other language spoken by at least 5% of the employees at the workplace or job site
- Notice should be posted in a conspicuous place at any workplace or job site where any employee works
- Bilingual: English and Spanish
- Posters are made of a durable, eco-friendly poly material that reduces impact on the environment and holds up in high-traffic areas or outdoor displays
