Mandatory Mountain View Change - Effective January 1, 2024
Mountain View, California, has made a mandatory change to its minimum wage poster to show the rate of $18.75 per hour which is in effect as of January 1, 2024. View our Recent Updates and Requirements report for details.
- Meets requirements of Chapter 42, Article II City-wide Minimum Wage Regulations
- Required for all employers that maintain a place of business in Mountain View or are subject to the City of Mountain View Business License
- Employers shall pay employees no less than the minimum wage for each hour worked within the geographic boundaries of the city
- Employers are required to post a notice in the workplace informing employees of the current minimum wage rate and of their rights
- Every employer shall post such notices in any language spoken by at least 5% of the employees at the workplace or job site
- Notice should be posted in a conspicuous place at any workplace or job site where any employee works
- Bilingual: English and Spanish
- Posters are made of a durable, eco-friendly poly material that reduces impact on the environment and holds up in high-traffic areas or outdoor displays
