  • This disposable Q.E.D.® alcohol screen test is included in the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's (NHTSA) conforming products list of alcohol screen devices
  • A set of instructions to help properly administer the test is included in each carton
  • 49 CFR §40.211 and §40.213 require that the technician performing DOT alcohol tests must have training in the use of the specific device, along with an understanding of DOT protocols
  • After 2 minutes the test indicates a reading of BAC % detected and the results are stable for 15 minutes
