UCR 2019 filings will not start October 1
Posted September 28, 2018
The 2019 Unified Carrier Registration (UCR) filing will be delayed while the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) works on finalizing the 2019 fees. Once the 2019 fees are finalized and published in the Federal Register, the 2019 filings will open.
When filing opens, carriers will be given three months to file their 2019 UCR.
UCR is rolling out a new filing site, plan.ucr.gov, which will be available on Monday, October 1. This filing site replaces the site formerly hosted by the state of Indiana and will be available only for carriers and other entities that haven’t yet filed their 2018 UCR.
Once 2019 filing opens, filings may be completed on the new site.
