Sleep apnea survey launched

Will focus on commercial drivers

Posted April 19, 2016

On April 14, 2016, the American Transportation Research Institute (ATRI) announced that it will begin an online survey of commercial vehicle drivers that will focus on their experiences and perspectives of sleep apnea. The survey will also ask drivers about sleep apnea assessments and treatments they may have received, as well as the effectiveness of the treatments.

This survey, titled “Understanding the Impacts of Sleep Apnea on Commercial Drivers,” was initially featured at a trucking industry event in March 2016, where over 100 drivers participated. The online version of the survey will be available through mid-May.
