- Durable 2" resin coated polyester for minimum elongation and maximum abrasion resistance
- Provides minimum of 40% retained strength after ASTM D6770-07 Industry Standard Abrasion Test
- Meets all current North American Cargo Securement Standards for tie-down straps including U.S. DOT, FMCSA, CHIP, Canada NSC Standard 10, and WSTDA T-4

When should drivers inspect their securement devices?
Securement devices do wear out! As a carrier, you need to have a process in place to inspect, and replace when necessary, the securement devices that your drivers are using. A common practice is to inspect any securement devices on the vehicle as part of the routine vehicle inspections, and replace any that are approaching the end of their service life. Another common practice is to require the driver to periodically document how many devices he/she has on the vehicle and the condition they are in. This process forces the driver to take a close look at the devices and request a replacement when one is reaching the end of its service life.
