Overview

Working on the limited space of a scaffold is difficult. Falls from scaffolds can result in injuries ranging from sprains and bruises to death. OSHA requires scaffolds to be constructed and used according to the manufacturer’s instructions; so, employees must have scaffolding safety training on both OSHA and the manufacturer’s requirements.

  • This course is designed to provide employees with an introduction to commonly used scaffolds in general industry facilities for manufacturing and maintenance tasks. Specifically, this course identifies scaffold hazards and how to use scaffolds safely.
