Facilities must submit a Tier II report if they are covered under OSHA's Hazard Communication Standard and must prepare or have available safety data sheets for one or more hazardous chemicals

The reporting chemical threshold quantities are different depending on how hazardous the chemical is.  In most cases, it's 10,000 pounds, however the Threshold Planning Quantity (TPQ) of an Extremely Hazardous Substance (EHS) requires reporting for a much smaller threshold.  Contact us for more information on this – we can help you determine if you meet the reporting requirements.

Common hazardous substances include:

  • Propane
  • Diesel
  • Sulfuric Acid
  • Fuel
  • Lead
  • Compressed Gasses
  • Ammonia and battery acid
