Managing fleet risk, identifying problematic driver behavior, and providing timely coaching and training is all possible with J. J. Keller's new event video management technology.
The comprehensive back-office dashboard, combined with the front-facing, dash-mounted camera, provide video footage evidence of driver behavior that could pose risks to your operation's safety record and financial viability, including:

Our advanced technology allows you to:
By capturing driver video footage, fleet managers can obtain evidence leading up to an event or accident, exonerate innocent drivers, identify fatigued and distracted driving, and gather more information on driver behaviors — all of which can lead to reduced insurance rates and timely driver coaching, resulting in a tremendous return on investment.
Combining this video intelligence with J. J. Keller's proven Encompass driver compliance dashboard delivers a unique scope of guidance particularly beneficial to fleets.
In studies conducted by the Virginia Tech Transportation Institute (VTTI), an event-based video system, combined with a driver behavior modification system, accounted for estimated reductions in fatal and injury crashes of 20 percent and 35 percent respectively. Similarly, the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) concluded that onboard video systems provide valuable information for evaluating the circumstances leading to a crash, as well as critical data for assessing survivability.
Uncover and eliminate risky driver behaviors with the J. J. Keller® Dash Cam Pro:
The J. J. Keller® Dash Cam Pro runs on a "continuous loop" and captures high-definition video clips for a predetermined number of seconds before and after a "trigger" event that meets the parameters which depend on the focus behaviors.
Video event "triggers" can be adjusted to suit your desired level of sensitivity to find the best point at which the riskier events are being captured for coaching, but not too many low-risk events.
Video data files are stored on the cloud and accessible in the Encompass system. There is limited local storage on the dash cam for "loop" recording. Video event files are transmitted to J. J. Keller's secure cloud data storage system.
Video events are available in the Encompass® system to monitor risky events, for use in coaching sessions with drivers, and for highlighting driver performance trends.
