The DVIR app offers a standalone solution for managing vehicle maintenance & upkeep, including options to customize vehicle inspection criteria according to a fleet's specific vehicle type.
Pre- and post-trip inspection data is captured through the app & uses a driver-friendly interface to efficiently record inspection data. Inspection records captured through the smart device are then transmitted via cellular connection to the Encompass® back office.
Additionally, the time-tracking functionality allows drivers to input hours through a basic clock in/out feature, which is also transmitted to the back office for reporting purposes.
Included for all Encompass subscribers (iPhone®, iPad® & Android™ devices), the app requires no ELD hardware and is ideal for mixed fleets and non-regulated drivers.

This app is automatically downloaded onto the Compliance Tablet™ if you choose ours, otherwise you will need to download the app onto your iPhone®, iPad® or Android™ smart device. The app offers a standalone solution for managing vehicle maintenance and upkeep, including options to customize vehicle inspection criteria according to a fleet's specific vehicle types.

Use your iPhone®, iPad® or Android™ smart device or choose between our rugged or professional tablets to access the DVIR App. The Compliance Tablet™ is locked down, so drivers can only run approved applications.

Unit Selection & DVIR Listing
Save time by selecting vehicles/units from a listing of all vehicles within your company. Upon selection, the listing of DVIRs for the last 14 days will be displayed, calling out any defects that need to be corrected.
Customized Pre- & Post Trip Inspections
Create customized pre- and post-trip inspections for powered, towed, and industrial equipment units, specifying inspection checklist criteria based on asset type. Results are then displayed in an easy-to-review format, simplifying the process to ensure all defects have been addressed. Inspection criteria can be generated for the following vehicle categories:
- Heavy equipment (cranes, forklifts, material handling)
- Specialized trailers (refrigerated, flatbeds, car haulers, etc.)
- Dump, asphalt, bulk, and pneumatic trucks
- Tank trucks
- Box trucks, cargo vans & pickups

Timesheet Functionality
Improve reporting capabilities with the time-tracking functionality, which allows non-regulated drivers to clock in and out during the day, and review and edit time for previous days as needed.
For hours-of-service regulated vehicles, use our Encompass® ELD app (formerly known as KellerMobile), which is compatible with our ELD & includes driver vehicle inspection reports features.
Back-Office Interface
The DVIR app improves fleet communication and vehicle management by making it easy for the back office to set up inspection criteria, review results, and effectively track defect resolution.
