ATRI seeks input from Midwest commercial drivers for truck parking survey

Feedback for the confidential online study due by August 10, 2016

Posted July 14, 2016

The American Transportation Research Institute (ATRI) launched an online survey seeking input on truck parking issues from truck drivers who operate in the Midwest states. Truck driver responses will help the 10 state Department of Transportation offices, who compose the Mid America Association of State Transportation Officials (MAASTO) coalition, to best determine how to coordinate real-time truck parking information.

The 10 Midwest states are developing a regional system to inform truck drivers of truck parking availability on most of the major corridors in the Midwest. These states are:

  1. Iowa
  2. Illinois
  3. Indiana
  4. Kansas
  5. Kentucky
  6. Michigan
  7. Minnesota
  8. Missouri
  9. Ohio
  10. Wisconsin

Truck drivers operating in the Midwest are encouraged to complete the brief confidential online truck parking survey by Wednesday, August 10, 2016.
