BTS publishes 2016 Pocket Guide to Transportation

Issue includes data on moving people and goods, safety, infrastructure

On January 8, the Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) published the Pocket Guide to Transportation 2016. The publication is a compilation of statistics that provides key information on the U.S. transportation system and highlights major trends. According to BTS, the guide is intended as a compact reference, and it supports the agency’s mission to create, manage, and share transportation statistical knowledge.

The 19th annual guide covers data on moving people and goods, system use and performance, the economy, safety, infrastructure, and the environment.
