Trainer Certification Services

We'll develop your staff into certified driver trainers! Once trained, they'll be qualified to effectively deliver the J. J. Keller® Safe & Smart Driver Training Program in the classroom, on the range and on the road. Trainer candidates will learn coaching techniques and best practices, classroom and range set up, final testing requirements and more. This program includes classroom PowerPoints, trainer handbook, driver handbooks, and range/road instructional content.

J. J. Keller's one-of-kind trainer certification services include:

  • Nationwide team of J. J. Keller instructors who are committed to helping your trainers succeed
  • Instructors with decades of experience at the nation's largest fleets who we've certified as highly qualified in operating CMVs, with the majority holding a CDL
  • Training in your company vehicles or rented comparable vehicles to provide the most relevant training possible
  • Adult learning methods used to ensure trainees will retain each lesson and are able to deliver effective driver instruction
  • Capabilities to train your drivers directly if you don’t have a driver trainer candidate on staff

Whether you have New Hires or Current Drivers, this in-depth, instructor-led program will train your drivers to operate skillfully and safely, understand the regulations that apply to them, stay alert and drive defensively, and provide professional customer service. This program meets the required Qualified Driver Safety Training curriculum as established by the vendor standards. Our instructors will train your drivers utilizing your largest non-CDL vehicle, reducing the need for future training.

Each program uses a combination of in-person classroom experience from our veteran instructors; range experience in a safe, closed-course environment; and road experience that concludes with an on-the-road test to verify each driver’s abilities.
