Slight decrease in TWIC fee

FBI investigation portion of the fee reduced

Effective March 19, 2012, the fee charged by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) for electronically processing fingerprint-based criminal history records information (CHRI) will decrease from $17.25 to $14.50 — a reduction of $2.75.

As a result, the enrollment fee for the Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) program will reduce from $132.50 to $129.75 effective March 19, 2012.
