Overview
- This DOT-approved screening device is designed to determine the presence of .02% BAC or more in accordance with DOT regulations 49 CFR Part 40.245
- Saliva-based (oral fluid) alcohol test intended for use as a rapid method to positively identify the presence of alcohol in saliva for blood alcohol concentrations (BAC) greater than .02%
- 49 CFR §40.211 and §40.213 require that the technician performing DOT alcohol tests must have training in the use of the specific device, along with an understanding of DOT protocols
- A set of instructions to help properly administer the test is included in each carton
- Easy-to-read results in 4 minutes
- Included in the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's (NHTSA) conforming products list of alcohol screen devices
- Each test is expiration dated (12 months from date of manufacture)
