What is HMIS III?
HMIS III is the most recent product group offered within the Hazardous Materials Identification System. HMIS III communicates hazard information through colors, numbers, letters, pictures, and symbols, as well as providing unique, at-a-glance warning features.
Does J. J. Keller offer another product group in addition to HMIS III?
Yes. We call it the original HMIS group. You may have initiated your compliance program using the products in this group, and perhaps you're still using them. For your convenience, we're continuing to offer products from the original HMIS group.
What's the difference between the original HMIS group and HMIS III?
While both product groups can help you comply with the labeling portion of the Hazard Communication Standard, HMIS III has features that can help the user more readily acheive goals set forth in the Standard. |
