A final rule for HM-215I was published on December 29, 2006. Compliance with the changes is mandatory January 2008. However, the new shipping paper sequence is not mandatory until January 2013. The new 5.2 label and placard is not mandatory for rail, vessel, and aircraft until January 2011 and for highway until January 2014. For more information view the final rule (PDF, 1.15 MB).
