According to the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) website, effective October 1, 2009, holders of the Free and Secure Trade (FAST) credential (i.e., FAST card) were not permitted to use their old membership card in regular lanes to enter Canada or the United States by land. However, FAST members will still be able to use their old membership card in all commercial lanes to enter Canada.
