Yes. Merging your company's information with J. J. Keller content is an excellent way to achieve a custom feel, often at less cost.

Can my custom product be reviewed for regulatory accuracy?

Yes. The regulatory-based content of your custom product can be reviewed by one or more J. J. Keller subject matter experts, depending upon the nature of the content. If you’d also like your operational policies and practices reviewed, a J. J. Keller safety consultant could visit your site to assess your operations.

What are the ownership/copyright terms of my custom project?

Many custom projects are complete works-for-hire. This means that the finished products are owned and may be copyrighted by your company. If the finished product contains some content owned by J. J. Keller, there is a shared copyright, with J. J. Keller retaining ownership of its proprietary content.

Can I handle duplication of my custom product?

Yes. You may duplicate your work-for-hire product. J. J. Keller duplicates products which contain its copyright.

Can J. J. Keller videos, publications, or other content be used on our intranet or LMS?

Yes. Through an intellectual property license agreement, we can give permission to your company to use J. J. Keller content on your company intranet or LMS. The fee for such use would be based on the number of viewers and the length of time that you would like to use it.

How long is a J. J. Keller intellectual property license term?

A J. J. Keller intellectual property license is usually limited to a term of 3 years or less. This ensures that the content you license is up to date with the most recent regulatory and best practices information.

Can J. J. Keller make a completely custom video?

Yes. We can research and write your script, and then do a video shoot at your location. We'll edit the video, and then add graphics, a professional voiceover, and music. We can provide it to you on DVDs, VHS cassettes, or in a format that you can deploy on your intranet.

How long does it take to create a completely custom video?

Much of the timeline depends on the availability of your staff during script development, equipment and personnel which will be featured in the video. On average, a 20-minute custom video takes 4 to 6 months to complete.

Are there any shortcuts that can help me create a custom video, but in less time?

Sure. There are a few ways to shorten up this process. We could use part or all of an existing J. J. Keller video script. Or, we could license the use of some video footage from a J. J. Keller stock video. Sometimes, the use of still images can also accomplish a custom feeling, but in less time.

We're always willing to explore creative options to help you create the project you need, within your timeline and budget.

Can you provide multiple stock videos on a single DVD or CD?

Yes. We can compile videos (DVDs, Windows Media, or other formats) onto disks. For DVDs, we can also offer custom menus featuring your company logo.

Can you develop a web-based training program for my company?

Yes. The J. J. Keller Training Center is a great example of our web-based training expertise. We can bring our content development skills together with your training staff and IS department to develop the training program you need. Your program can be deployed on your intranet or LMS, or on the J. J. Keller Training Center.
